Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career by playing supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). She was later a reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and also played a minor part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She played Kaylee, a young Moira in the first season of on FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She voices various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, at which point her mom and sister relocated to California [1] where they lived for a year , before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she started to develop an interest in photography, acting and singing. Breckenridge moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue a career in acting.
